The basics
- What’s included in the packages?
Included in all of our packages is everything from Food, Décor and even entertainment on arrival. While you can always add in extra’s we are always happy to make the packages as personal to you and what you want. You are not stuck to everything that’s in the package of your choice.
Ceremony
- Do you have allocated spaces for Civil Ceremonies?
We offer the option of or Indoor and Outdoor Civil Ceremony’s (weather permitting) with Ceremony Highlights. Ceremony spaces for up to 200 -250 guests
Food & Wine
- Is a complimentary menu and wine tasting included?
Yes, Your tasting takes place about a month out from the wedding. You will also taste and try your wedding wine this night. The tasting is complimentary for the wedding couple. For additional guests they are charged 35 euro per person.
- What are our options For Day 2?
We can host BBQ and Finger food on the rooftop, Brasserie Garden or Lir Bar. If the Piano Foyer is free (no wedding or conference the day after) you are also more than welcome to use this area again. Menu prices are in the brochure. You can also have a one-man band/Dj on the rooftop etc. They can play until 11pm on the roof.
The Wedding Party
- What is the capacity of the ballroom?
Our ballroom can fit between 300 to 320 guests on round tables, plus using long tables.
- When do you need the final numbers and table plan?
We will ask for your final numbers at least a week before the wedding. Please be advised – once we get your final number this is the amount of meals chef will prep for, therefore we cannot drop the price of guests you are paying for, should you have drop-outs the day of the wedding. We will also need your table plan as well. We will print your table plan for you.
Accommodation
- Is the bridal suite included in the price? Are complimentary rooms provided for the parents or any of the wedding party?
We have 68 rooms in total in the hotel. You will be given a block of 17 rooms with a wedding rate. Along with the 17 rooms you will be given an Additional 3 complimentary rooms The Bridal Suite plus 2 Additional Rooms for the night of the wedding only.
- What accommodation does the venue offer, will there be discounted rates for guests at the wedding?
Wedding room rates vary throughout the year and are always lower than leisure rates. If you wish to hold more than 17 rooms – We can offer a 2 Block of Bedrooms at a slightly higher rate than the initial Block. All rooms not named 6 weeks out from your wedding will be released to the public. We will let you know before we release them and you can obtain your rooming list at any time
- What time is Check in/ Check out?
Check in is from 4pm onwards, and check out is from Midday.
Financial
- How do I calculate the total price of my wedding and do you offer payment plans?
You will see the payment plan at the bottom of your contract. You calculate the price of your package x by the number of guests attending. We ask for 80% of the over all bill before the wedding day. The payments begin 6 months out from your wedding, then 3 months and finally 1 month. However, if you want to pay more/ before that’s completely up to you. You can pay by bank transfer, over the phone, by cash or cheque.
- When does the deposit need to be paid?
You can provisionally hold a date for 2 weeks without payment. To confirm the date we ask for a 1,500 euro deposit which officially holds the wedding. The deposit is non-refundable. To confirm, we draw up the contracts, once you signed the wedding contract Your “Big Day” is officially confirmed.
- What’s the cancellation policy?
You will find all details of our cancellation policy in the ‘terms and conditions’ you will receive along with your contract.
