“We got married at the Athlone Springs Hotel on February 21st, and it was honestly perfect.

Estella, who oversaw everything, was brilliant – always there to guide us, answer questions, and offer advice. She knows her stuff. The two James’s were great, and Tara was a star. On the morning of the wedding, I couldn’t get my speech printed at home, but I emailed Tara. I forgot about it, but when we arrived, it was there waiting at the top table. She was so kind and calm.

The food was fantastic. We really enjoyed our tasting a few weeks before the wedding. Martin (the chef) was so helpful offering advice and letting us taste other options and even creating a whole new starter that was perfect for what we wanted!

The ballroom looked amazing – James has an eye for flower arranging and had beautiful center pieces. The singer that Estella arranged for the drinks reception was fantastic. We got so many compliments!

Despite the awful weather that day, the hotel made it all feel perfect. And the bridal suite was just gorgeous. We felt so well looked after. The hotel will always be special to us ❤️”

Estella, I personally just want to thank you, Martin, Lucia and James for always going out of your way to accommodate us in trying to create an amazing wedding day for us on Sunday last 15^th Feb 2026.

Thankfully you were there to help guide us, support us, accommodate us and ensure everything we needed was not only provided but done so with such consideration it relieved so much stress for us, gave us such peace of mind and allowed us to have the best day we could have hoped for.

Everyone is still talking about the food as well. To all the kitchen staff too who made sure my young nephews never went hungry, that my in laws who had travelled were completely taken care of and that all our guests are still commenting on how great a time they had. None of this would have been possible with your help and advice.

We cannot thank or praise you enough.

We got married at Athlone springs hotel on the 21st of November from start to finish the whole weekend was amazing. Estella, James and James couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel so special the entire time. Every single of one my guests spoke so highly of the whole weekend, in particular the food. The head chef Martin could not do enough for us and gave us so many ideas/tips for the meal and reception. We had the most amazing time and will remember our weekend for the rest of our lives. Thank you to every single member of staff that we dealt with, we really cannot put into words how much we enjoyed our weekend. I cannot recommend Athlone Springs hotel enough. All the details, the decor everything was just perfect. We did a meal for our bridal party the night before and the room was decorated so beautifully.

We had our wedding at the Athlone Springs Hotel and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, the staff were incredible — so friendly, helpful, and nothing was ever too much trouble. They made everything feel easy and stress-free, which really let us enjoy the day. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with such a lovely atmosphere and great spaces for the reception. Our guests are still talking about how great the food and service were. We’d highly recommend the Athlone Springs to anyone — it was the perfect place for our big day!

When our original wedding plans fell through, The Athlone Springs Hotel came to the rescue and genuinely saved our day. With barely any notice, Estella and James went above and beyond at every turn to help us pull off a more beautiful wedding than we could have dreamed.

Their warmth, professionalism, and incredible attention to detail made us feel instantly at ease. Every request was met with enthusiasm and grace.

Despite the fact that they host multiple weddings a week, they truly made us feel like ours was the most important wedding of the year and our guests haven’t stopped talking about it.

I cannot fully express the gratitude we have to the entire team at The Athlone Springs. We stayed for 3 days and everyone from bar staff and servers to receptionists and management, were superb and so friendly. What started as a stressful situation turned into the most perfect day.

We had our wedding in the Athlone Springs Hotel on the 01.08.2025 and we had the best day from start to finish.
The food that was served throughout the day was amazing, and all our guests are still talking about it. The ball room was decorated beautifully and we genuinely couldn’t thank the staff enough.

We would like to give a special thanks to Estella for all she did behind the scenes and the two Jame’s for looking after us on the day. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and nothing was ever to much trouble. We would highly recommend Athlone Springs to any couple looking for a wedding venue.

We would like to thank you and everyone so much in the Athlone Springs Hotel for our wedding on the 2^nd August. We still haven’t recovered from last weekend, everything was absolutely amazing!

The Outdoor Ceremony was absolutely stunning, we could really see all the work that went into it. It was so beautiful and the butterfly release worked out perfectly, such a beautiful way to represent both of Keith’s parents. The food all day was delicious, our Guests loved the ham rolls, everyone is still talking about them a week later, there was plenty of food and drinks to go round all day.

Could you please thank James Kelly for us to, he was so helpful both days. Everything about our Wedding Day was just perfect, everything we could ever imagine and more, it really was a dream wedding.

The new Mr and Mrs Raftery

We had our wedding reception at the Athlone Springs and from the day we went to the Wedding fair we knew it was the place for us. From our meeting with head chef Martin and wedding planner Nicole we knew we were in great hands. They treated us like VIPs in the lead up to our big day.

The service and professionalism was second to none. To the general manager Paul-you were so lovely to deal with and treated us with such kindness and professionalism and to your staff on the day including James and Vicki and our fav Chi, you should be so proud of their service and dedication to making our day a huge success and one that our guests are still talking about. A member of our bridal party was visually impaired and the hotel went above and beyond to ensure his needs were catered for and were so good with the best guide dog Drew by bringing food and water out for him at various intervals throughout the day.

Hats off to chef Martin for convincing us to go with the assiette starter-it was unreal. Everything about our meal was 10/10. An all-around fantastic day was had and one that we won’t forget.
