Whilst you are with us you have complimentary access to our new leisure center with our 20 metre swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room, kiddie’s pool and not forgetting our state of the art studio room, weights section and gym. With you Smart TV you can sit back relax and enjoy watching your very own Netflix, 100’s of other channels. You have the luxury of ordering our scrumptious room service or taking a trip down to our bar or restaurant for some tasty house cocktails or freshly made meals.

Why visit Athlone?

That’s a good question, we are centrally located so nowhere is extremely far from us, if you don’t want to stay in the hotel all day you have plenty of choices from discovering the great outdoors with Portlick Forest, Lough Key Forrest Park, The Old Rail Greenway, Dun na Si heritage Park. You can dip into the rich history of Athlone with Athlone Castle, Sean’s Bar, or venture further to learn of the Vikings at Clonmacnoise or see the largest telescope in Ireland at Birr Castle.

Thinking of more of a relaxed time away and just want to enjoy some window shopping at Athlone Town Centre or Golden Island Shopping Centre, finish a day of shopping till you drop with some scrumptious food in one of Athlone’s infamous food venues with the likes of Dead Centre Brewery, Thyme restaurant, The Fatted Calf, The Villager Glasson or Kin Khao Thai restaurant. Followed by a few drinks in the snug, Sean’s bar the oldest restaurant in Ireland.
